Penn State 利哈伊谷 professor part of team that named new dinosaur species

The ferocious Tyrannosaurus rex lived between approximately 68 to 66 million years ago, but a team of researchers that includes a Penn State 利哈伊谷 professor has identified a new species of Tyrannosaurus that dates back even further — essentially an ancestor of the fearsomely named "tyrant lizard king.” They published their finding in Scientific Reports.

Penn State Laureate to visit and exhibit paintings at 利哈伊谷 campus

The sky’s ever-changing landscape is the focus of “Something About the Sky,” a series of cloud drawing and skyscape light paintings featuring movement drawings created by Lori Hepner, 2023-24 Penn State Laureate. Hepner’s work will be displayed in the Ronald K. DeLong Gallery at Penn State 利哈伊谷 from Feb. 5日至4月27日. The exhibit will kick off with a reception on Feb. 6.
